Pre-Order Motorola Droid From Best Buy Starting Today
Posted Thu, 10/29/2009 - 18:24 by Mashable
Verizon’s answer to the iPhone, the Motorla Droid hits Verizon stores next Friday, for $199 after a $100 mail-in-rebate. If you want to go ahead an pre-order your phone (and get that $100 rebate instantly), head over to your nearest Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile location starting today. Just like they did with the Palm Pre, Best Buy is offering an instant $100 rebate, which makes the phone $199.99 with a two-year contract. The Droid looks like it might just be the ultimate Android device (up to this point anyway). It will be coming with pre-loaded Google apps, Facebook, and Amozon.com MP3 store integration, like other Android phones, but it will be the first to feature the new Android 2.0 and Google Maps Navigation. Verizon released a video tour of the phone and some of its features yesterday, but we’ll include it again in case you missed it. Will you be getting a Droid? Let us know! Disclosure: Motorola is currently a sponsor of Mashable’s Open Web Awards Reviews: Android, Facebook, Google Tags: android, best buy, droid, motorola droid, verizon
