Five years of World of Warcraft marked by documentary

"A lot of players have what they perceive to be dead-end jobs. They log into these worlds and suddenly they’re somebody with power", says a gaming analyst of the people who play multi-player games online.
It's five years since World of Warcraft launched. It now attracts 50 million players around the world.
A documentary airing on Monday (November 23) at 10pm will look at its extraordinary growth and the impact it has had on the players, and tries to explain some of the social and psychological forces driving the expansion of massively mutiplayer online games.See original: Five years of World of Warcraft marked by documentary
